The annual MC motorcade
About this time every year the local MC club arranges a motorcade from Marieholm to Trollsjön in Eslöv. They pass my house on their way. Last year we counted 244 motorcycles and this year the number was 214. Nevertheless, the motorcade is quite impressive and it is enjoyable to watch the enthusiasts straddling their bikes and to listen to the roar of the engines. Some on brand new colourful Suzukis, others on old vintage MCs and yet others (proudly) on Harley Davidsons.Some bring their kids in the side cars. Or is it their grandkids? Because a considerable number of the motor cyclists are of ripe age with grey beards (the hair was hidden under the helmets). Is it the same guys with grey hair I meet at the New Orleans jazz concerts? Or is it just that ripe old guys know how to enjoy life?
